Les Chevaliers de Malte campsite offers a full range of 3-star services in the heart of Normandy near Mont-Saint-Michel. Thanks to our grocery store, snack bar, laundry facilities, wifi access at the bar, and many other services, you’ll enjoy a comfortable stay in a green setting, close to the town center of Villedieu-les-Poêles. What’s more, we’re an ideal stopover for hikers on their way to the Mont-Saint-Michel.
Our reception is open every day to welcome you: from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 8 pm in high season, and from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6:30 pm in low season. We’re here to answer all your questions and help you make the most of your stay.
Services for a peaceful stay near Mont-Saint-Michel
To make your stay even more enjoyable, we offer a variety of practical services:
- Our launderette is equipped with washing machines and tumble dryers, available for €4 and €3 per use respectively.
- In addition, we offer baby kit rental (including bath and bed) for €3, as well as bed linen kits (from €12).
- If you stay with your pet, you will be charged €2/day for pitches and €5/day for accommodation. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted. Pets must be kept on a leash at the campsite.
Free services such as hairdryers and barbecues (free communal barbecue, individual barbecue rental €5 per stay) are available to make life easier and your stay even more comfortable.
Bar and snack bar for gourmet breaks
The bar is open every day, so you can enjoy moments of conviviality after a day of discovery.
The snack bar is open from 6 pm to 8 pm every day except Tuesdays in high season and weekends in mid-season.
We offer a choice of pizzas, hamburgers and fish and chips, which you can enjoy on site, on the terrace or to take away.
In July and August, we organize themed evenings every Friday, including barbecues/frites and concerts for an unforgettable festive atmosphere.

The campsite grocery store in Normandy
Our grocery store is open every day, offering you the essentials as well as fresh bread and pastries every morning. No need to leave the campsite to enjoy delicious croissants and fresh baguettes, everything is available on site for your convenience.
Car rental near Mont-Saint-Michel
For added flexibility during your stay, we offer a car rental service via our partner Europcar. It’s even possible to pick up guests directly from the nearby train station, to facilitate your arrival and travel during your stay. For further information and rates, please contact reception.
Electric bike rental
Explore the region in an eco-friendly way with our electric bikes for hire. These bikes are ideal for discovering the area around Mont-Saint-Michel or for a leisurely ride around Villedieu-les-Poêles. This service is provided by our local partners, ensuring an authentic and enjoyable experience.
VTC and electric bikes can be hired from May to the end of August, booking in advance and at the following rates:
- Electric bike €30 per day, €50 for 2 days.
- VTC: €10 per day, €18 for 2 days.

For motorhome enthusiasts, we provide a service area with drainage, water filling and access to other campsite services. We’ve thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and carefree, so you can make the most of your stay with us.
Services close to the campsite
Thanks to our privileged downtown location, all the services you need are within easy walking distance. Just a 3-minute walk away, you’ll find the Arc-en-ciel swimming pool, with its 25-meter pool, 30-meter slide and water heated to 30 degrees. The Villedieu-les-Poêles media library lets you borrow books, CDs and DVDs during your stay, for just €10. And don’t miss the nearby cinema, ideal for catching up on the latest film releases.
Every Tuesday morning, take advantage of the Villedieu-les-Poêles market, just a 3-minute walk away, where you’ll find numerous local traders and producers. On Friday mornings, you’ll find local Normandy producers offering fresh produce such as crème fraîche, butter, fruit, vegetables, eggs, fish, seafood and the famous smoked andouille sausage.Finally, just a few steps from the campsite, Françoise and Issan offer pottery classes in a friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re on your own or with the family, discover the art of creating your own clay sculptures.
